Self-archiving and digital preservation

UDECIC University journals encourage self-archiving as part of their commitment to open science and knowledge preservation. Authors may deposit and share their manuscripts in institutional, thematic, or personal repositories, as well as on academic networks, provided the original source of publication is cited and the integrity of the document is maintained.
Three versions are allowed:
• Preprint: A version submitted before peer review, identified as such.
• Postprint: A revised and corrected version after evaluation, which is officially preserved in the UDECIC institutional repository and in the OJS system.
• Published version: It can be disseminated in scientific repositories or networks (such as ResearchGate or Academia.edu) indicating its publication in the corresponding UDECIC journal.
Articles are stored in their post-print version at the time of publication, ensuring their digital preservation and permanent access. The LOCKSS function is also activated in OJS.
All content is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, which allows for use and dissemination for academic purposes, provided authorship is acknowledged and the content is non-profit.

This policy reinforces UDECIC University's commitment to the transparency, accessibility, and visibility of its scientific output.

LOCKSS is also authorized to preserve content through OJS.
